your method of finding new music

Ways of finding new music that doesn't include listening to your local radio.

I listen to the discover weekly playlist on spotify weekly to find my music as well as artist/song radios

I use the music threads here on lewd and eternal, check discord sometimes or related videos on youtube. But I also sometimes browse some kind of obscure text/image bbs boards, they have some interesting music from time to time; in some cases they have music sections. Otherwise soundcloud seems also pretty good at discovering music, as it automatically plays related tracks after listening to a certain track.

I found a lot of good edm by listening to related songs on soundcloud. Do you ever listen to the promoted songs?

bandcamp discover is pretty good. I also use Reddit, find the subs for your favorite genres and you're set.

I don't even listen to the radio tbh. My main ways of finding new music are simply by hearing music in Films/TV or sometimes even in Facebook or YouTube videos, if I like any of the music played I go and find it, sometimes if I'm bored and don't feel like listening to anything on my youtube or spotify playlists I look at some artists who's music I've saved some really good tracks off and listen to some of their other songs, many I only like one song from but often enough I find a lot of the ones who make one song I like will make more I like, that's it really.

I usually listen to compilations and if i dig the artist then i get more of him/her.
