I muted the entire chat to stop the edgy/hateful conversation that was ruining the atmosphere in the comfy channel; you know this. Don't try to act like a victim on the forum, because you're not one.

There was no hateful conversation going on dude we were just discussing an issue and you were the only person who couldn't take it so you just muted everyone.

It was a one sided bs conversation about how "trans people are bad" in a community where every one in four people (made up statistic, but we do have a considerable amount of trans people) is seemingly trans.

That's not what the conversation was about, Cyka was the only person who was saying those things and he seems to have calmed down. If any trans people were offended by anything I said (highly doubt it) please tell me exactly what offended you and I'll take it into consideration.

You can argue whether this was offensive or not, but it's definitely something which needs an apology:

Your ban was not exclusively from one action, you were being a little bit of a dick on discord, then you insulted a staff member in PMs, this means a ban until you apologise.

1. carry on about it on the forums like a kid throwing a tantrum
2. throw insults in whenever you can, like a kid throwing a tantrum
3. continue, even though it clearly has no effect, like a kid throwing a tantrum

The mute was intended to stop a discussion that we both felt could have gone too far into potential /pol/ territory, and to force a change in topic. If you hadn't been rude to melan in PMs after the mute you wouldn't have been banned and we would have forgotten all about it. I hope you can learn to admit your mistake and apologise properly.

Dude I didn't even know why I was muted because you didn't give me an explanation, you didn't give anyone an explanation, even Dennis thought Senpai had muted him for wrongthink.

What, my mistake was that I asked Senpai if he had been triggered in a blunt and rude fashion? Maybe you should apologize for your mistakes, you muted a group of people without fair warning didn't explain why. And then when people became a little bit pissed off about it you proceeded to ban them from the group, whilst still not having explained why you muted them in the first place.

Sure, the communication wasn't perfect but you're the only one who had to be rude about it and jump to conclusions instead of asking, and you got banned for it. Everyone else acted maturely and didn't get banned.

Yes, that was your mistake, and you should apologise for it. @Melancholy explained why everyone had been muted as he unmuted the chat:

A fair warning was given:

I don't know why you continue to use plural, you're the only one that got banned for being rude to staff. You missed the communications because you jumped the gun and insulted the staff and got banned before they had time to communicate.
