I think the point of the video isn't "you can't enjoy these shows because they're good lol", but that you shouldn't put yourself in a position of being better than someone else because their taste isn't as "refined" as yours, mentally masturbating over how classy you are: don't show off.
But digibro is the weeabooist and can't get this across without generalising massively and being condescending.
