Hello! My name is qzo!

Hello! My name is qzo/qzorg, I came from Lainchan, where I have spent the good portion of the last few years. I grew up in the yesteryears of computing, my early experience was with old VAX mainframes, and later BSD research computers. I now operate as a sysadmin for a government contractor. I used to lurk old USENET, EFnet, 4chan between 2005 and 2007, and I have been bouncing around a lot since then. I got into Japanese "culture" when I first watched GitS, and have since enjoyed quite a few different shows and movies, although now I mostly watch softcore moe slice of life garbage. Most recently I watched Non Non Biyori + Repeat and I enjoyed that a whole lot.

I hope we can all get along!

Welcome qzo. You'll definitely fit in here, if you need any help with anything feel free to message someone with a heart next to their name

I should watch Non Non Biyori.

Thank you!

Non Non Biyori is very seriously the most heart warming experience I have ever had. Every episode I feel is a piece of art, not only for the animation and scene design, but for the writing and character design as well. Honestly, the best way to describe the show is cozy. Maybe I am just describing it like this because I am coming off the high of watching it, but I sincerely believe that it is something that everyone should at least give it a shot.
