THE ULTIMATE DEBATE: COFFEE VS. GREEN TEA

Posts

whats better

i like green tea more because i'm asian and also coffee doesn't taste that good unless you dump a pound of sugar into it

Kohi is wayy better, it's smells amazing and just tastes so good.

Coffee is the only right answer, tea drinkers are not to be trusted.

I honestly like both, but when I'm tired in the mornings... Coffee is bae. Though at night while working on essays, I think tea is amazing. It calms my mind and helps me concentrate on getting tasks done.

Tea because it gives me a more relaxed feeling over the energized feeling I get after drinking coffee.

I actually don't really like either, I prefer hot chocolate if I'm going to drink something warm. But between the two I would definitely prefer coffee because there are some pretty decent flavors. But I agree with having to dump a lot of sugar and flavored liquid creamers in it to make it taste delicious.

Team hot chocolate! I'd much rather have that than coffee or tea, I don't really drink either. I have to use a lot of milk and sugar to make coffee bearable so its not worth the effort. I do love the smell of coffee though.

Yay! hand clap I know what you mean. I always feel the same way. Adding so much sugar and creamer does make it a waste, that's why I usually don't bother either. But you're right, the smell is great. Especially when you walk down the coffee/breakfast aisle and they have fresh ground or roasted coffee beans the smell is so loud and good! But then I remember the smell is better than the taste. :/

If it's alkaline coffee, then it should have a little precedence over green tea in most normal days. Green tea makes you sleepy while you get a dose of non-acid base energy from alkaline coffee. On one hand, if I feel like detoxing and cleansing my system, then I'd go for green tea. There's actually no need to pit the two against each other since for me, they serve different purposes.

Black coffee, just coffee and hot water is all I drink.
Can't really go tea

I've never liked coffee. I'm 34 and still don't drink it lol. I don't like bitter things 🙁 And even with cream and sugar it's still pretty strong and bitter.

Oddly, I LOVE the smell of coffee though. lol.

I do occasionally (like 2 or 3 times a year) grab a starbucks with my friends but I almost never order "just" coffee, I get like a caramel mochiatto or a hot chocolate instead lol.

I don't think anyone drinks coffee for the "taste" - they do it to be more "adult" -- or for some people it helps them to "wake up".

Green Tea has many nice health benefits. It also does not taste as strong or bitter as coffee.

Therefore put me in camp Green Tea ^-^ yay.

I would pick tea anytime over coffee especially lemon tea. I just don't have the taste buds for coffee.

18 days later

Normally i'd say coffee but at the moment im out of it so i just drank my hazelnut creamer and boy am i jittery i have mispelt so many things in this i had to go back and fix it even as im typing im fuckin up

Tea forever mang... However if you don't know how to do it or use cheap shit you are gonna have a bad time....

But currently im enjoying the cold shit at starbucks with a shit ton of cream idk what it's called but its really good

Coffee is great but I also love Tea.

I alternate regularly between the two!

I like both. I drink Green Tea more often though because it is easier to make than coffee imo.
