LGBT Community Versus Manny Pacquiao

While I was away having some good time, I can't help but to get irritated seeing people posting stuff and bashing each other just because Manny Pacquiao (yes, the boxer) said "Same-sex marriage is worse than animals." (non verbatim).

Manny Pacquiao is running for the Philippine Senate this coming elections (Yes, I'm from the Philippines). In one of his interviews, he was asked about his position on same-sex marriage. He then said (again, non-verbatim), "do we see animals of the same sex doing it with each other? We can't right? Then, if so, human beings are worse than animals."

So I was like, okay, so what do I care about the LGBT community? As long as they don't do me harm, I'm okay with them. I don't care whatever they do. But then these people on Facebook started posting stuff about religion and what not and saying Manny is a bigot. So you'd expect Manny's fans to defend him, and that's what happened.

So yeah, my point is, I'm just sick and tired of these people judging other people. Can we not just live our lives and be happy? And maybe watch some ecchis. 🙂  :sigh:

It was literally the first response to 'giraffes gay sex' that I typed. Not even 5 seconds of Googling. People don't care if there is an insane amount of evidence against their prejudice because ultimately it is just that; a prejudice.

It's just sad that people nowadays are too quick to judge other people. I just wanted to think that there are still tons of good people out there. Maybe too busy watching anime? 🙂  :steve:
