that anime was awful!
its nothing but a fan service for sonico, but seriously what sonico thing is not fan service
I don't know what I expected when I attempted to watch that show

I'm yet to watch an Anime series that I don't like.

If I don't get recommended it by 2 or more people, then I don't bother with it.

Accel World, based on a light novel penned (I shit you not) by the same guy who wrote Sword Art Online. An anime so disappointing, so utterly devoid of wit, charm, and sincerity during its second half, that I found myself compelled to write a page-long rant/review in one of the usergroups here.

Upon further reflection, I think Accel World's problem is that it's a character-driven story, but the characters are all over the goddamn place. So inevitably, once the show jumped the shark, it came crashing down extra-hard.

I generally enjoy even shitty anime pretty well, which is why it's one of my favorite hobbies.

I actually liked it, so much that I also watched the OVAs and started reading the manga. But it was the first or second (if Death Note was the first one (pls no bulli)) anime I ever watched, so I wasn't very picky.

A friend and I once tried watching School Days for kicks and had to stop in the middle of the third episode. That was a whole new level of awful I hadn't even considered.

I don't think I've seen any of these before lmao, are they really that bad?

Based on ratings on MAL, I started watching Clannad. The first season was okay I guess, especially the first half. I accidentally downloaded the second season (or After Story, idk), so it would be a waste to just delete it. So far I've watched 7 episodes, but it's getting harder to force myself to watch the next one. Watching anime means you have to be ready for occasional cringe and pretentious love confessions, but Clannad is just too much. I can't watch a full episode without having to stop and walk around my room.
