Undoubtedly the best looks-wise, though her hard-ass personality got on my nerves from time to time. Still, overall probably my favorite with Hanako as 2.

Been thinking about playing this again sometime, at least on either Shizune's or Emi's route. I need something with pathos, something that will let me slow down, appreciate the finer points of life.

I'm now considering it myself since you've bumped this thread up. I feel like this would be great to toss on a phone and just play it whenever, I think there is an android mod so I might look into it.

I still stand by Shizune being the best girl from this game, but I always thought her route was a bit of a disappointment compared to the others. Plenty of great stuff in it, but nothing like the others. ESPECIALLY Rin, whose story is just something else entirely and has a resonance that few other VNs do.

Honestly though, and this feels shitty to say, I didn't know that this game was made by westerners when first playing it and I don't know if I could enjoy it the same after realizing that it's not Japanese. But Rin will always stick out as a special character.

I've been listening to this game's soundtrack pretty regularly for the past few weeks, typically when I get up in the mornings or to and fro work. It stirs the soul in a comforting manner, like a long and meandering talk with an old friend.
