I hated it lol and god it was so fucking bad xD

I was still in School back then and it was a boring rainy night (from what I remember), so I would of watched anything and said it was good

Yes mainly the fault is to blame on the producer and director.
Most of the times they are pulled into transering an anime into a movie that isn't that hard to do it the right way for example Gamtz the move was pretty decent, however manny directors have no idea of the Anime medium and don't take the necessary time to study it in depht. 

Has you see the Video above is made by F-ing college students that know what they're doing I've seen the whole 30 minutes movie and was very good despite beeing only 30 minutes it's like 100 times better thn any other anime to ovie adaptation, sure cell is a bit weird round the mouth areea, but they have reasonable limits considering they were doing it by passion with limited funds nit like the studios that have actually almost no limit compared to them.
