This game has so many bugs you can still pass through certain buildings and cleaning the blood is almost unreal but anyway the plot is awesome and cute in a way like when picking panties and shit and obviously not cute when you start killing people looking for rival-chan.

You should wait 6-8 months to really get a more developed version.

I honestly thought at first that this was some kind of dating simulator, where the goal is some what a netflix and chill with senpai.

The game is playable and you can do a lot of stuff, i don't know why he keeps on saying that it's just a 5% completed game, at this rate it will never be finished..

Game has no goal at the moment, the thing you are playing is a debug version for testing new features. Maybe follow game a little bit if you like it?

I've played it, its not terrible but it needs a lot of improving.

It has a goal which is start a relationship with senpai or killing other girls interested in him but as far as i know you can't "win" the game yet. People are more interested in making gay yandere-senpai stuff rather than contributing.  :kek:

Eh, Bethesda and EA have done arguably worse things, and people will still buy their games. I suppose the main difference is that the programmers are somewhat competent (in EA's case, at least)

YanDev's a fucking gold mine. I'm surprised it took as long as it did for a lot of people to realize what a joke he is. Citing time spent reading emails as the reason why he doesn't work much is the funniest thing ever.

I think I heard something like the framerate dropping by 5 or 10 for every character put into the game because the code is so horribly inefficient. Surprise, surprise, he went to school for animation and not programming. The most baffling to me about the development is that he theoretically didn't have to do anything himself. He had a rabid army of teenagers voluntarily making assets for him and definitely could have afforded to hire more experienced programmers to pump the game out fast for mad cash. That's the power of ego, I guess. And speaking of his fanbase, they're a pretty entertaining sideshow to YanDev. They defend everything he does to a zealous degree and are unrelenting to his critics. There was even an incident where one of them went onto Kiwi Farms specifically to flame people that were making fun of YanDev.

It's weird to think back to when I first heard of this project during one of his weekly update threads on /v/. I didn't think it would have gotten nearly as popular as it did, nor would I have thought that it would still be unfinished five years later. The best we could hope for is that someone else more competent decides to run with the idea.
