Wow, Well I didn't expect this coming. The start of the episode seemed promising with Subaru attempting to learn how to sword fight, but quickly took a turn when Subaru got his "I am better than everyone else and Emilia NEEDS me" face on. I really liked the spotlight on Rem this episode, but the ending was pretty brutal. Here comes the reset!

Yeah, that idiot Subaru needed something like this to realize that the world is still way beyond his grasp so he still needs to learn a lot of things before going solo. And sorry i was watching one piece this whole week so i couldn't watch the ep yet he he. SAVE REM FFS! The letter clearly shows that Rem has feelings for him.

WOW THIS ONE WAS GOOD. The repeated deaths are pretty brutal but the ENDINGGGGG. Subaru has finally gotten some of his sanity and confidence back and we'll maybe see some action finally instead of just death over and over. BADASS SUBARU IS BACK BOYZZZZ. Lets just hope he doesn't fuck this up again.

i found this ep sadistic af, that brutal scene where he twisted rem's limbs made me cringe.
i also was confused at the credits, i thought it ended till i watched the end

I'm seriously getting sick of seeing failure after failure now X.x. It's starting to feel like the same episode over and over, which isn't really entertaining. He tries, He fails, He tries, He fails. I assume they are trying to show that Subaru isn't as good as they made him out to be in the first couple of episodes, but it's getting ridiculous. We understand he's useless but even when he tries to get others help, he fails. PLEASE GIVE US SOME SUCCESS DAMNIT!

It was a very touching confession, but had Subaru actually been swayed and actually fallen in love with Rem, it would have meant that his love for Emilia wasn't all that genuine in the first place. This would have weakened his character, in the bigger picture. Amazing episode, I'd hate to have all that pressure on me as a voice actor to attempt to portray that level of emotion. I'm looking forward to the next one.
