I voted Jill Stein.

From my point of view Jill Stein is just as shit as the other two. She's anti-vax and anti-nuclear, and generally seems to pander to the anti-science movement.

Despite that, I hope she does well (just don't win) to show that the 2-party system can be broken.

I don't know where you heard she's anti-vax, but she did an interview refuting this

As for anti-nuclear, yeah she is against nuclear power, which I think she should change her mind on because it's actually much cleaner than fossil fuels. Although I understand her desire to push for more renewable energy instead

Not to mention nuclear power allows supply to be created quickly to feed a surge in demand from the power grid, which many renewable sources can't (you can't like up the wind power)

Well, the idea is to store surplus power for when there's a surge in demand.

It's not exactly easy

Today, I went out and voted for Vermin Supreme.

I live in Illinois. Chicago will guarantee that our state will go blue, so I have no real reason to vote for the lesser of two evils. And I don't want to give either of them my stamp of approval, either.

So, I voted for Vermin Supreme. He's the only candidate with hardcore porn on his campaign homepage, you know.

Clean up your happening bunkers, folks; the shitstorm of the decade has arrived at last!

Welp,I guess this thread is gonna be "Opinions on the Incumbent President" for the next four years...

IMO, it's not so much Trump that I dislike; moreso the ideals of his supporter base. I mean, for Pete's sake, just watch this video.

Probably the best thing to come out of this election is the uncovering of the flagrant bigotry that plagues our nation. I didn't realize it myself until I saw average people still disgusted by gays and lesbians, still thinking transsexuals have mental disorders (or ought to off themselves), and fetishizing the vision of this ideal conservative paradise free of all the things that ail us today.

Ah well... For once I'm kinda thankful for political polarization: At least this means that the Dems are gonna rush to secure the legislative branch. I won't mind Trump being president, just so long as he stays the course and doesn't rush us into another decade-long war.

Can't wait... Thou Shalt Be Missed America 2012-2016

Just when you think 2016 can't become any more of a shitshow.

A wise man once told me...

There's always more, and it's always worse.

I love Trump and I want to be filled with American glory. The republican control of the senate scares me just a little bit on the other hand. Not sure he's going to stand up to the establishment nearly as much as he claims. I have a comfy view from over here in the Pacific luckily

I'm hoping he will deliver on getting rid of NAFTA, re applying The Glass-Steagall Act, ending foriegn aggresion abroad, auditing the fed, and term limits for congress.
I assume he will be like every president though appealing to his platforms base and just doing the exact opposite or bending to the will of special interests or the people around him in his cabinet.
I can't wait to see him at the UN or the G20 though.  Hopefully his gaffs will surpass Bush's.  A man can meme, get George Soros out of the country. 😉
Also on what his "ideals" are I really think he is a genuine person, who loves America.  As for what his "ideals" are regarding politics I think he just says things that people want to hear.  Hopefully he isn't all talk.
BTW to all the SJW who are "shaking" and planning to move out of the country are overreacting imho.  We'll see what the next 4 years are like, I really doubt he will be the worse president we have ever had.
