They should release the source of their servers or something. So that modders can setup their own modded servers.
GTA V Actively Banning People For Using Mods
Posts
Theo-senpai wroteThe main reason most people would usually buy GTA is for either:
- 60 FPS
- Mods.
Without mods, according to Rockstar's b& streak, the only thing left is to enjoy your super HD gameplay, which gets old after a while since you can't go online without getting slammed.
Then again, you can always do Story mode over and over again.

well it's ok for me not only do i enjoy the amazing graphics but i stomp kids online
Are they banning people because absolutely fucking 1337 haxxors have been ruining games for everyone or just because they hate PC users?
It's good to know I don't need to pick this up for pc.
Considering that I don't own a console anymore......
(although I might get a Wii U)

Well, I wouldn't exactly say this is only happening on the PC, but it's a lot harder to mod a console game.
yeah: https://archive.is/1g13M
ignore that kotaku tagged the article as PC for some reason, the article was written well before the PC release.
this sucks. i bought GTA V for the mods.
I'm not down with the modding community but I know you can cheat money in online and not get banned

Given that you're smart enough to not get caught.
There's an easy way to cheat money and it also look legit on rockstars side. Although I only got 5m to test as I've found every game I hack/cheat in gets really boring and I want to keep GTA fun as I haven't got anymore games to play. Still enjoying GTA though

Eh. I would've kept going, because it's annoying what one has to do to get money these days in GTA.
I haven't done all the heists yet
and I still enjoy speed running missions

I haven't finished them all either (mostly due to many people's choice not to join the Setups, which is really stupid). And I don't really speed run missions, I just attract the police and massacre a whole bunch of them before finishing the objective. I dunno why, but that really helps out with the whole reward thing.
How much does it help?
