suggestion: easier way to clear notifications without going to the notifications page

A way to clear all notifications without having to open the notifications page would be appreciated.

I guess it could be helpful I tend to ignore notifications.

notifications will be getting a full rework:
Image no longer available
(ignore the placeholder text)

That looks pretty neat.
