I don't see what's so bad about it. Sure the art might take some getting used to, but judging by the posters, it just looks like a cutscene from one of the games.*

*Note: I've never actually played Tekken.

As a Tekken fan i can reccomend this, although it doesn't have to do anything with the actual game story, it's a nice non-canon side story. (Also by the time this came out [pre-TTT2] the animation of the game wasn't even close to the movie itself).

Storywise it only helps to draw attention to fan favorites, but it's certainly better than the anime movie from the 90's and far better than the shitty live acton movie.
