Do you have any tips of how should i respond if anyone ever found out I'm an otaku

Posts

I apologize for the title & i apologize if this is dumb question I'm asking ahead of time for your tips & your advice because if anyone ever walked in my room or if anyone ever walked in on me & some how he/or she ever found out some how that I'm an otaku when i didn't even say anything.

1 of the example questions is why you didn't tell me you have this or why you didn't tell me you have that or a possible question is why you didn't tell me that you're a a a a otaku i don't know a good proper expression of their reaction to say on here so i say it this way so you can get the idea.

& if he/or she looked at me differently without getting to know me for who i am & before you ask me only response I'm thinking of saying is well you didn't ask me then I'll leave at that & yes I'm including if he/or she ever sees my power level & such so to speak.

& before you ask me yes I'm including a girl/woman who rejected me when i moved on & I've gotten myself a girlfriend when & if i put myself out there dating again,if i choose to & if she's the one who rejected me & sees me hanging out with a another girl/woman (whose dating me & maybe my girlfriend).

Anyway if someone ever finds out you're an otaku you'll understand why I'm mainly asking those of you with experiences if you have any tips & any advice on how should i respond to them if anyone ever found out that I'm an otaku & if anyone ever found out ever found out about my power level.

When i didn't say anything & yes I'm including when i didn't even bring it up when I'm not lying, they didn't ask me & most of all it didn't even brought up & don't worry I'm waiting til times right to tell her before if i decide to tell her or not thanks & thanks for your helpful tips & helpful advice ahead of time 🙂.

To keep it simple, if you ever get to hang out with someone who says "ayyy u watch animay? that so lame like OMG ur such a nerd" and stuff, walk away from the room right now. You don't need that kind of people in your life. Same goes if someone starts looking down on you or making you feel lees for doing it.
I guess your girl, if she really likes you, will be happy to discover a new side of you, that you enjoy certain kind of stuff and the likes.

And of course, it's commonly accepted not acting like an obsessed tool, like "I watch so much anime, baka sempai". I usually tone it down and moved on with other people who i knew it would make feel ankward to talk about it. If they dig it, it's fine.

It's ok if you don't sound like a complete freak.

Honestly, the only acceptable course of action in this scenario is suicide.

If you don't act guilty, as if you've done something wrong by enjoying a certain thing; in this case anime - you won't need to be as defensive. If you just put yourself in the mindset that you won't take shit for liking what you like and that people can either accept it or get lost (without being hostile) you'll notice that people will be less adamant to tolerate your hobby. If you instantly act as if you're doing something wrong, people will perceive that and be supsicious of you even though you're innocent of wrongdoing.
