Who Was Your First 2d Love?

Posts

This might as well belong in the embarrassing stuff thread, but here I go:

I was somewhere between 13-15 years old, and not much into animu. Somehow I found out about Kissxsis, and that became the first series I really got into. I even (secretly) became quite fanatic about the series, and probably also for the first time felt that emptiness after watching all the episodes, OVAs and so on. It was the peak of my puberty, so I wasn't very picky at all, but here she is:

Turns out the manga is still being released, I should get back into it

If I didn't have an anime incest fetish before, I sure as hell developed one after watching KxS.

Mikazuki Yozora was my first.
i would let her step on my face no lie

Unlucky romance being in love with someone who isn't real :/ I think I was in love for real. But I got over it after a few months, heh.

I felt the same way for a while and it sucked.

I guess before I knew about much, it was Gary from Pokemon.

But for a full blown love for a character at first sight and now my permanent husbando?

This guy.

When I was really young? Misty from Pokemon. I was absolutely enamored with the show, games and trading card game.

How I met Lucia Konohana:
It was over 15 years ago when I ate something too spicy, and went very ill for a couple of days.
At the point when I was sure enough I was dying, I had to rest for several hours, then REM phase came unexpectedly, and I was whisked away to some mystical landscape. I had no prior experience in lucid dreaming at that time.
A late winter dream in early March, I wore royal clothing (purple, I think), I walked down to see her at the throne room, where she was just about to give me a crown to become her next heir when suddenly her capital city was besieged. I gave my dream life away to save her from monsters, made a promise to return, and then woken up. It was the only dream I had in my life, as far as my memory serves. It only lasted about 25 minutes.
So far, to this day, I still hadn't had the chance to go back, but I'm not giving up on learning how to dream lucidly to have amazing adventures again.

She's my only 2D love for the rest of my life.

I already spoke my piece on Phoebe above, but on the subject, I just got this wallscroll:

None of the girls from Azumanga were my first 2d love, but it was the earliest anime
I crushed on anyone from. My friend had this poster and I'd literally go over to his house just to gaze at it! I get so many warm and nostalgic feelings when I look at it and now it's hanging in my room. I couldn't be happier <3

Ahh yeah,  all the characters from that show were total qts. Yukari-sensei was best girl tho. <3

Anyhoo, my first 2D love? Far as I can recall, it musta been one of the gals from Love Hina. I'd played the (in)famous Sim Date RPG on Newgrounds, and stumbled upon a torrent of ISOs for the whole series. Drawn in by curiosity and cute girls, I was instantly hooked.

It turned out to be the show that got me back into anime after a years-long hiatus, and my first exposure to harem anime. Even though it hasn't aged all that well, it'll always have a special place in my heart. :3

Kaolla was actually one of my early loves too!* But I never watched the show back when it was relevant. Such a shame as I would have loved it; I just wasn't savvy enough to torrent anything. I would read fansites just to learn about the qts though! That's about the nerdiest thing I can think of.

I have a lot of fond memories for that time. I don't know about everyone else, but based on the sites I browesed, if you hadn't seen Azumanga Daioh, Love Hina, and Excel Saga you hadn't seen shit for anime [I still haven't seen Excel Saga btw...]

*Although now in retrospect every other girl from the show is better. If I watched Love Hina at the time maybe I would have realized how annoying she was and chosen a better character.

Horo from Spice and Wolf, I didn't knew wolf/fox girl can exist back then. Nowadays I am hooked with kemonomimi especially fox girls huhuhu
