Freezing/Cold/Chilly

They say the probability chance of around an inch to a quarter of a foot for me is about fifty-fifty tomorrow through Saturday.

Ahh, now this is winter weather. ^^

Really puts into perspective how wimpy us brits are, and really how mild and consistent our climate is through the year.

-2 here atm. Might as well be in Siberia tbh

Mimics wind sounds as best I can with this to simulate a wind chill of zero degrees or worse

The nights here in the U.S. this time around keeps getting progressively colder, even Florida gets the rare cold and Hawaii's tops with blizzard conditions.

Sheesh, and they said the Russian winter was frigid. Where on earth do you live, man? Literally the only two that came close were Yellowknife and Montréal in Canada.

Edit: And Jan Mayen, though I'm sure the polar bears don't mind much.

Living in Winnipeg, MB, Canada. Yellowknife and the Northwest Territories in general are constantly in the double digit negatives compared to here where we only get stretches of harsher coldness.

Russia is like another dimension of cold lol.

Ja, 'nother cold front blast again, mein friend. ^_^

What a strange day. First it felt as if the cold were seeping in through the windows and doorsills, now it feels like a typical night in late spring. Yet somehow it's hovered around the same temperature all day long.

Turned off my heat before I went to bed to save on electric costs, instantly regretted it when I woke up. Cannot say I recommend.

Do you not have your heating on a timer? You could make it turn off overnight and come on before you wake up.

My thermostat sucks and changing it would break my lease, unfortunately.

Ah, ours doesn't even work. Fortunately the boiler has a timer function.

Looks like winter's gonna be over in a week or two. Hard to believe it was dipping into the single-digits a month or so back.
