30 Anime Questions

My memory might be a bit limited regarding what I watched (early to mid 2000's mostly), at a time when my emotions were as uncontrollable and exaggerated.

1. First anime watched: Hard to say by exact date, but Toonami from Cartoon Network placed me on One Piece, when I was all by myself late during one of these summers.
2. Favorite anime: Puella Magi Madoka Magica
3. Favorite male lead: Naruto, he can be confident at times and other times he is not.
4. Favorite female lead: Homura, she has more screen time than the title character Madoka does.
5. Humiliation moment from my enjoyment: When my father walked in when I tried to watch Astro Boy during one of my younger summer time offs very late at night to go to sleep.
6. Anime wishing to be seen but not in my eyes now: That would be an adaptation of the Phantasy Star games; it is still in its early stages, so it is not even quite ready.
7. Do I have a crush/waifu/husband? Shirasagi Mayuri from the VN game Flying Heart, unfortunately there is not much fan art on her. In my RPs, she's my co-emissary and a Tulpa I named her Miya.
8. Best anime villain: Walpurgisnacht the Never-Ending Festival Witch from Puella Magi Madoka Magica
9. Best anime couple: Inuyasha and Kagome
10. Favorite fighting anime: Sailor Moon
11. Favorite mecha anime: The anime movie of Transformers, my father used to watch that too together once
12. Saddest Anime: Highschool of the Dead
13. Closest Match to an Anime Character: Oh dear, you never know how similar I am to a vulnerable yet adorable boy who can't figure out the situation he's used to from Mirai Nikki, poor him.
14. An Anime that is Pure Gold notwithstanding view count: Kantai Collection, particularly the musicals
15. Favorite animal, pet, or summoning sidekick from an anime: Closest match to a sidekick I need on my side would be the naginata-wielding Ririchiyo from Inu x Boku SS.
16. Best animation: Code Lyoko, but it is from France. (In the virtual world portions, the graphics change drastically)
17. Favorite male support: The teacher that helps Naruto and the Team 7 clan from Naruto.
18. Favorite female support: The girl that historically refuses to sink twice with a tinge of kindness for soft animals Nagato from Kantai Collection.
19. Epic scene: The famous "Power level is over 9000" meme from Dragonball Z.
20. Most Peeved Character(s): I tend to laugh out at most characters' awkwardness more often than turned off, but without a doubt, the culprit of my sanity goes to Team Rocket members from Pokemon.
21. Most Goofed/Silly Character: The most amount of laughs I gave out goes to Krillin from Dragonball Z.
22. Favorite weapon/gear/piece of armor used in an anime: That would be a long spear, but no need for fancy armor because I am built for speed.
23. Favorite attack move: The banzai charge (plant one foot forward, take deep breaths, then go out at full speed not stopping for anything until hitting the target, tired or dead)
24. Most Shocked in an anime: It’s not the scenes themselves, but the emotional musical cues that trigger my shock nerves, so that would be at the end of any tragic battle, particularly Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
25. Saddest Death in an anime: A universal takeover upon grabbing hold of Godoka's hand by Homulilly. It is not a single death, but more of a universal death, even sparked quite a controversy because it promotes biblical themes.
26. Best anime fight ever seen in a lifetime: Battle of Midway from Kantai Collection, the most recent so far.
27. Most badass scene from an anime character: "IMMA FIIRIN' MAAH LAZAR... BRRRR!” probably said by Cell from Dragonball Z.
28. Favorite quote from an anime: "I am strong because I have people to protect." ~ Said by Naruto
29. What anime will come true for me: Rewrite, but with a reverse plot twist that Gaia failed to turn the world completely green and devoid of life, and instead becomes a successful technologically advanced utopian society under one leader. That's also my true goal for my planet too, because it is based on that anime itself.
30. What anime that just never ends and rather continue: I want to see more of what's happening to the former magical girls after their magic system was abolished from the Puella Magi series or maybe reveal something about the mysterious Incubators.

   Azumanga Daioh, unless you count Pokemon, DBZ, and Sailor Moon when I was a kid.

   Lots. Neon Genesis Evangelion is my stock answer.

   Sakaki-san

5. What anime are you ashamed of enjoying?
   Some ecchi shows that are basically hentai like Eiken or Manyuu Hikenchou I guess... but I'm not really ashamed of that anymore.

   All. Soon I'll probably be watching Full Metal Panic!, Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei, and Girls und Panzer.

   Pilaf!!! moeki's is a great choice though...

    The ending of Kaguya-hime no Monogatari. And I loved it!

    I guess Hunter X Hunter (Komugi) or Evangelion (Kaworu (no yaoi) and then everyone in the movie). Not sure, I don't get bummed out too easily?

26. What anime fight was the best?
    Frieza/Ginyu Force fights in DBZ were classic. Also way too many in Hunter X Hunter to name.

27. Which scene was the most badass from an anime character for you?
    The God Knows concert from Haruhi maybe?

28. What is your favorite quote from an anime?
    The analogy of the time/space continuum as an eroge from Steins;Gate. Otherwise I don't remember much. I don't even know if that was in the anime instead of the VN so that might be a cheat.

29. What anime do you wish was real?
    Anything light and funny like Azumanga Daioh, Gabriel DropOut, or Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon. Saki and many ecchi shows because I wish there were that many girls with huge knockers.

30. What anime do you wish never ended and continued instead?
    Not really any. I have a big fear of something I love lasting for too long and becoming crappy so I don't think any I like should have gone on longer than they did. Though there are some I wish spread out their story over more episodes because they were really rushed. Mostly Occultic;Nine.

Hoo boy, that's a whole lotta questions.

1. Not too sure. I think the original Pokemon series is the best bet, or the Kirby anime. I'm pretty positive that Tokyo Mew Mew was the first manga that I ever read.
2. Still, probably LOGH. I think it'll take me consuming something else at the same rate to make me seriously reconsider what my GOAT anime is.
3. Now that's tricky. I kinda want to put Reigen from Mob Psycho 100 here but I think Ol' Kintaro takes the keiki.
4. That might be even more difficult tbh. I'm really not good at picking favorites in general. Oh wait a minute, Osaka is a thing, we're good here.
5. Don't know if I'd say I was actually ashamed to enjoy something. Mob Psycho was well above what I expected but that really doesn't count. I guess Ghost Stories, since I thought I could tolerate the normal version based on what I'd seen?
6. I'll watch Parasyte or Kaiji. Someday.
7. Haruhi Suzumiya is hot to me in ways I can't begin to pin down and Kumiko Oumae is cute to me in ways I don't understand, especially since unlike the former I haven't even watched her show. Those bastards at KyoAni have inexplicably landed a bullseye on my preferences I guess.
8. The Major's a pretty cool guy. Johan Liebert was also pretty effective I thought.
9. If we're talking just duos then that goes to Yomi/Tomo. Romantic couples is trickier. I guess Sato and Misaki were the ones I rooted for the most to get together. Everything else was simple shipping.
10. Kill la Kill or MS100. In that I think those are the only two fighting anime I've seen. TTGL is more mech than fighting, though it does have the same feel.
11. Speaking of TTGL, TTGL. To me, NGE transcends the mech genre and is its own thing while I think Gurren Lagann's more the Ultimate Mech anime.
12. Episode 13 of Made in Abyss. Y'know, that one.
13. I think OG timeline Homura is who I have the most overlap with. Sato of NHK fame was also pretty relate able for me.
14. Serial Experiments Lain is weird enough that may be always re-watchable, more so than something like Mob Psycho or Cromartie High School.
15. Kyon's cat or the Cut from Girls' Last Tour.
16. Of what I've seen? Nichijou had pretty rad animation even if I didn't care for the show itself that much. End of Evangelion and GitS are sweet as well.

1. Gundam 00, I stayed inside during the 4th of July and was channel flipping, it was the episode where COUGH COUGH Lockon dies. I was so moved.
2. I'm so conflicted, I have favorites which accomplish different things, but the anime that lit a huge fire in me was Hajime no Ippo.

7. I'm a sleezeball I can't pick one. Maybe one of my fav girls listed above. Tsuyuri for comfiness, Valmet for Valmet, Revy for thrill, and Misaki seems like the best girl realistically.
