I'm loving the atmospheric landscapes that Luci posted, too. They really show emotion too, I think.

Man, I need to find a psychiatrist that doesn't insist on doing mail-order. It's a good thing my meds finally came today, ten days after going cold-turkey. That boxcutter of mine was lookin' real friendly...

Can't you just get them from a pharmacy? :o

Unfortunately, insurance doesn't allow us to shop local for certain medicines anymore. Got to love that American healthcare system. ^_^'

This one genuinely, physically, hurts like hell.

For context, FAMAS is one of the less powerful guns in Girls Frontline, a huge disappointment for her high rarity. In the last panel, she's literally scrapped herself and left the commander with her salvaged parts.

I've, ah, been dealing with similar thoughts for quite some time now. I'm lucky that y'all and the rest of my friends are so supportive, but that lack of self-worth is difficult to overcome. If I could turn into a small pile of money just by offing myself, I... likely wouldn't be here.

Mmmmh... This one also makes me physically ill. I'll never have children, but, I've always taken care of my friends who're younger, and it pains me to see them return to broken homes.

It's also one of very, very few things I get angry about. If you abuse your fucking child, I don't care who's watching. I will wring your fucking neck.

Sadly, it is the reality for many. I wish we had the death penalty for pedophiles.

Living in a non-death penalty country myself.

Death penalties are highly problematic though. Can't release an innocent person from prison if they're dead. And people accused of paedophilia already have their lives ruined enough even if they're not found guilty.

Yeah. In an ideal world we would have certain justice systems that would prevent this. Sadly we do not live in an ideal life.
But looking through it, death is too good for them. I would prefer life sentence.

I've been making a hobby of creating rewritten translations of tragic doujinshi to give them my own personal flair. However, once in a while I'll run into one that strikes a chord even with me. The Admiral and Ikazuchi, a Kancolle work, tells the tale of an awful admiral who's codependent on the exceedingly selfless Ikazuchi.

Read the whole thing in one sitting. Hurt like hell. As... much as I hate to say it, it reminded me of nearly everyone I've loved, between constantly being taken for granted, financial reliance, the physical abuse... You'll understand, then, why rewriting was such a challenge. To date, I've only managed one page, and shared it with someone I confide in. I... think I'm ready to post it here.
