First anime you've ever watched?

Technically it would have been Pokemon and Yu Gi Oh since I have been watching those since waaay back in like 2002.
First real anime that I watched was Sword Art Online and AngelBeats! Those are the two shows that really got me into anime.

The first anime I watched (since Pokémon doesn't count) was, I think-
Damn, I don't actually know .-. Could be Puella Magi.

I hadn't realized my collection was so tiny.
But yeah I think I went Puella Magi->AoT->Kyoukai no Kanata->Kill la Kill->No Game No Life->Deadman Wonderland->Mirai Nikki->Another->Death Note->NGE->JoJo (in progress).
I would swear I'm missing something , but that's everything I can think of :/

I'm very squeamish, but for some reason PMMM didn't disturb me very much ._. I really should rewatch it.
I've got a nagging feeling that I saw something before PMMM (Maybe AoT?). I must have had some form of background, really :/

If your first anime was Madoka and you managed to keep going ever since, I have so much respect for you.

Well the first anime I really got into was Code Geass that anime was so good and the intro
(was the first japanese intro I tried to learn lol)

First anime I've ever watched was Fullmetal Alchemist, followed by Death Note. They are such great shows, if you haven't seen them, watch them! :3

My first was DBZ.... I was poor..... it was the mid 90s in America.... we didn't have a lot of choices... i consumed what Toonami offered....
After that I saw The Irresponsible Captain Tylor and it changed my life!!!! It was my first comedy anime, and it set the tone for what I would enjoy in the future.

Really? I thought it was a pretty up-beat and happy anime. Sure, it had it's moments, but I don't recall it being very sad.
