I used to watch Naruto and Yu Gi Oh on Saturday mornings on Fox Kids, but I never understood the plots. Anyways, the first anime I started and finished was Soul Eater. Gahhh. I still remember the dope intro. Still love that show to this day.

The first real anime episode I saw would've been Ep 2. of Soul Eater at school. It all spiralled downwards from there :^)
My first anime I ever can recall watching is Fullmetal Alchemist. Was not disappointed.
If we're talking about shows we seriously sat down and watched, my first anime was either Neon Genesis Evangelion or FLCL.

Pokemon before I actually knew what anime was. Sword Art Online was the first one I ever watched while actually trying to get into anime.

The first "real" anime i watched was Death Note. My friend recommended it to me. I didn't think i'd like it, but i ended up loving it 
Not including anything in the kids demographic, Kiss x Sis in '13 although what actually got me into anime was Gurren Lagann last year.
