Lewd Update - New forum software.

Steph we are undead! woo!!

This is a new one ^^'

clare it's 2024, chop chop

clare we are a large and thriving community in desperate need of your attention dear leader

COUPLED
Lewd will rise again. As will traditional forums, as social media dies. This is the best time to promote the site again, IMO. =w=

i hate the social media, i hate the social media (except for pleroma)

Backlash

honestly i could see a rise in forum usage in some form again bc social media is rly just one data collecting mouthfeeding ad content nightmare.. among other things. I do admit i do be scrolling the social media at times but at least nowhere near my peers

tn5421
true... idk what pleroma is

malmon right!

malmon this is a forum it's not social media as such

tn5421 Is it not? What makes social media so, in that case?

malmon scale

tn5421 But how relevant is the size of the site when it technically performs the same function? A mansion is still a house

but the comparison isn't mansion and house. it's City and House. Where a forum like this is a house.

Is there any screenshots of the old forum ui? I dont fully remember what it looked like but i want to reminisce

Dex Hmm, I don't think I have any that I could easily find... And I expect most of the images that might've been posted on the old forum were probably hosted on now dead sites :/

malmon damn that’s sad, part of history lost forever

Dex I'm sure there must be some somewhere - I definitely remember people taking screenshots of things, but it's probably a matter of waiting until any of them revisit and see this thread ^^'7
