Heroes Of The Storm

This MOBA just came out and it's actually pretty fun, it's the first MOBA I've ever been able to get into. Anyone else play?

I've seen my cousin play and he loves it, but I personally never really got into MOBAs.

I play world of warcraft which is by the same company, I might try it out.

I had 3 different accounts during the beta... All of which were unusable for various reasons. When my PC is fixed, however, it's more than likely that I'll start playing. I remember Stitches' sweet hooks of death lmao

I'm loving the game, I like how nice and simple it is. Perfect kind of game for me!

I'm afraid to try it for two reasons

1.) Me and mobas get along like blind people and banana peels

2.) Too busy dealing with RNJesus in Hearthstone

But my friends say its easier then LoL so maybe i'll give it a shot soon :/

Well, look at it this way...

  1. You and your team level up together, so it's impossible to fall behind
  2. There are no items in the game, only abilities for you to spam
  3. You don't need to worry about last hitting
  4. As far as I know, there isn't really a jungle in the game

So it's a very simple and easy game to learn. The only thing you will want to learn are the heroes abilities and that's it. Where as in LoL, you need to learn abilities, learn items and what they do, buy items given the situation you're in, you can fall behind very easily if you don't farm/last hit enough creeps and then you've got these picks and counter picks... I guess the same thing will apply with Dota as well.
