What happened to our Humblebundle donations?

Some of you might wonder where our humble bundle donations went, or why more nice people aren't joining from them.

Apparently the folks at humble bundle have censored our leaderboard listings. They're still there, under the name Anonymous. ($105 on the monthly bundle and $61 on the weekly bundle).

I'm currently trying to sort out a refund, as if they aren't fine with displaying an anime forum in their listings, I'd rather give the money to someone else.

The whole ordeal has thoroughly pissed me off, and they can expect nothing but bare minimum purchases from me in the future.

That's a shame, we've been having a nice influx of new members join just from that advertisement alone. If they do continue to censor the name, I really do hope you can at least get a partial refund back.

I don't think there's anything I can do if I don't get a refund, although I haven't touched any of the keys I got with it, so that might help me get a refund for it.

If I do get a refund, I'll likely use it to fund a H artist's patreon.

Wow, that was quick and efficient. So they won't allow advertisements for the forum in the future, though?

Idk, they didn't really say anything about it.

They're not really an advertising agency, they just display top donations. Apparently they wouldn't accept lewd.sx as a top donator, even though they've accepted things like botting shops in the past.

Could be for the same reason Deviantart rejected our advertising, that they deem the site inappropriate without giving it a glance over.

Probably. I might try again in the future, with a redirecting "less conspicuous" URL.

When I first saw the banner ad, I actually thought the site was hentai-oriented so it really piqued my attention that way.
If you'd like to use the hackneyed phrase, I came for the lewd and stayed for the community. The URL is misleading to a degree. Changing it would obviously be overkill, so the redirecting url would be best imo.

I guess my point is that people what see the url are probably just expecting a porn forum :T

I was glad i found a place that was at least open to lewdness and hentai...glad theres a section for me

I'd just like to say that I'm very disappointed that this didn't turn out to be a porn forum.

I got my money back, just means I got free advertising for 12 hours :smile:

I'm going to be spending what I got back on more advertising.

Well, they did give a full refund, and apparently a quick one at that. I think they handled it okay, to be honest.
