as the title says, lewd.sx is now smug.love.
i have run lewd.sx since 2014, and for the whole time i've found it hard to tell friends about the forum because of its name. like the name sounds so much worse than it actually ever has been.
in the last week or so, i put together the smug.love design and branding as a separate community and started to grow it as a separate forum. but i decided to push forward with merging as i think its better for my goal of earning some activity around here again.
anyways here's some new features that you may have missed:
traditional style homepage
as much as i love the modern style of just having a list of the recently updated posts, it felt like it was missing something. we now have a custom categories list that looks like forums of the past.
anime and manga trackers
we now have built in anime and manga libraries. display your watch history on your profile and create threads under specific anime (or manga), or even specific episodes/chapters.
live features
thread presence
with thread presence, you can now see when logged in users are actively reading or typing in a thread.
chat mode
for long general discussion threads we now have a chat thread mode (check it out under the random thoughts thread):
live dms
the dm system we had before was so ugly and annoying to use, we now have live chat windows! (and i have backfilled all of the lost mybb dm data)
with the name change, a lot of our old banners have become irrelevant. i will be modifying/remaking some of them but it would be good to get some new banners going! you can submit them in this thread.
