I'm glad you like it! I remember dedicating my entire summer back in 2013 to playing this game, it was that fun and addicting.

I went back on my old laptop and found my progress screenshots taken back nearly two years ago. Here's a record of my latest character (whom I haven't touched for a long time):

Holy shit, all that XP needed to level up. You clearly were invested in it. If it's really that good, I'm ready to play this thing!

Thank you! In honesty, it's a custom portrait mixed with some custom sprite details, the default portraits and sprites were a little to unrefined for me. If you start playing and want to mod a bit, just let me know and I can fetch you some worthwhile ones.

That'd be lovely, I love roguelikes.

The thread option sounds nice, as for the group, a roguelike group might be a bit narrow, so maybe just joining the Vidya group? It already exists, but discussion could include roguelikes in it.

So I started playing and I thought the portraits all looked really bad. Could you recommend me some good ones? ;_;

I'd say progression is like most roguelikes, so it takes a bit to learn. Once you get into it, it's really fun.
