Classic Mode

I know that Poochy has mentioned making a little network between Lewd and Slack, but

lolno. Slack will be deprecated when lewd.io is finished.

we should get rid of CometChat, or optimize it. As it stands, it uses long pulling (or at least when I last read the source), which is pretty hefty on the server.

I'll be getting rid of it soon, I'm in the process of recoding the PM system and will be coding my own version of cometchat to go with it.

Our dedi should be more than capable for now. :wink:

Agreed. I trust the replacement will be as good, if not better. As long as it's better, I see no issue. However, it's not like I had time to get attached to Slack :p
