Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii

I'm this guy http://www.hackforums.net/member.php?action=profile&uid=531250
registered before but forgot to introduce myself. This seems like an extremely fun place so hey guys.
A couple of questions
1) I've went full weeb and been learning Japanese the last couple of weeks. Is anybody else doing it too? Is there a group for this? I'd love to pair up with people and learn with them.
2) How do I raise levels?

Thanks <3

Hi there!

  1. Not to my knowledge, but I'm sure a thread on it will draw some attention!
  2. By posting, and making threads. Higher levels = Cooler perks!
    By the look of your username, I'd recommend joining the MLP usergroup in the 'Groups" tab.

Enjoy your stay~

Welcome Th3PonyWizard! I've seen you around other communities, I hope you enjoy your stay here. πŸ™‚

Answers to your questions? Listen to @Bushido 's instructions. That dude is on point with everything. However, if I may add, I am very interested in learning Japanese. It's true no one seemed to start anything, but I'd be down. I've studied Japanese for 5 years, and I always hit a dead end because I never had another person to actually speak to. I can read a decent amount of hentai (i.e. ahn! ahhh! ah ah! stop it! pussy, dick, feels good!, hot, thick, inside me big brother, little sister) ahem...., but my Kanji is very limited. Let me know for sure if you wanna get something started!

Also, nice choice on your group πŸ˜‰ Welcome to The Lewd!

Welcome to The Lewd community where everyone is lovely and friendly! May you enjoy your stay and have lewd dreams <3

Eh, I've been learning japanese passively by watching anime. I'm interested in that but I just can't get to learning on any site, so if the group like that comes to fruition, I'm down to joining it. ^^

Anyways, welcome! Hope you enjoy it here.

Welcome to the site, Pony! If you need any help, feel free to PM me or another staff member.

Glad to see @Bushido took initiative on your questions.

Thanks guys! I'll try to get into the level requirement needed to form a group. Nihongo it is :p

Eeeeek, all this publicity ;w;
But really, welcome to the forum! I'm sure you'll find everything you need here, it's all a matter of knowing where to look (;

Ah, welcome to the forums! Glad to see someone else that's interested in learning Japanese πŸ˜ƒ

If you want to learn Kanji, WaniKani is the way to go. It's based on mnemonics and the Spaced Repetition System. Before using it, I knew δΊΊ and, like, ζ—₯. Now I know 209 and have a Beautiful House and a Loving Wife

Infomercial jokes aside, WaniKani is absolutely amazing. The bad bit being it's $8/month or $80/year :\ I've heard Memrize is similar but free, but I haven't used it.

So in a way, it's kinda like Rosetta Stone but better and it's monthly?
I actually wanted to find some sort of foreign language program that simulates real life situations where you are to use the designated language to progress. So far I haven't heard of anything like that though. It would be really nice.

Ah, there's this site called delvin language and it uses clips from Japanese ads, soap operas, and Ghibli movies to practice hearing. It's a cool concept, works well, and it's pretty close to a real life situation.
