Mod Applications

I'm expecting an influx of new registrations some time soon, and we currently only have one moderator; so I figured I'd like to bring on another mod.

Instead of choosing someone the way I usually do (usually picking people I think I can trust amongst my friends), I will be reading applications and choosing someone based on their application.

Any applications that aren't serious or have a lack of effort will get ignored.

idk about your activity or whatever before this point either, so if you've been lurking, feel free to apply anyway.

An actual application template would probably be useful. Though really I guess it'd just be explaining why you're perfect for the job and why you want the job in the first place so maybe not. XD

Agreed, a template would be very useful for applicants, additionally I'd like to know whether there are any prerequisites for mod apps. (Age, forum activity, etc.)

I prefer to not have a template, and let applicants write their application in their own format.

There are no prerequisites for the mod applications; being over 18 is preferable, but being genuinely interested in helping the community is the only must.

In an application, I'd like to hear how you'd help the community, and why you believe you would be a good moderator.
