But I only come here like once every few months.

Damn shame. You should fix that. c;

I never really thought about it until someone said I was a typical shut-in after my adventures of puking because of eating doritos.

Me during college: "I might be a bit of a private person, but I'm hardly what you'd call a shut-in. Shoot, I actively go out of my way to step outside and find people to talk to! So nah, I don't think I'll ever be a shut-in."

Me today:

kind of, most people are too weird to get along with

That's funny, usually most folks see it the other way around. What makes you say that, mate?

Yes

I'm known as the quiet guy at my work and I spend all my spare time online pretty much.
I had a hard time in school due to always wanting to be alone.
If someone has the same strange intrests as me I probs would talk to people IRL.

I can chat with other people if they're the one to initiate it. Consequently it's still not uncommon for me to spend an entire weekend with little to no face-to-face interactions with others.

That's what I meant by most people beying weird, I meant we don't share the same strange interests

I kind of was in the states. My job enabled me to by working from home on a computer during night shifts (teaching English to kids in China). But I ate out regularly and had no anxiety in those kind of situations, plus I had one IRL friend I often hung out with so it seems like too strong a term.

Not as much in Japan. Not only do I have school and work but there's great stuff to do here for an otaku who can speak the language! But I still am kind of a loner, always have been.

I already been felt like that but it is not my choice for years even when I moved out once back in 2014, I kinda wish I would have joined the rest of the NEETs already, I just do not have the guts in a long time until I found the place to stay three years after that.

Probably, though I do go outside when my friends invite me. Otherwise I just sit inside in front of my PC.

I'm certainly more of a shut-in these days. Not by choice, but not that I mind. I've learned to appreciate the time I spend with myself.

I went the entire day without any verbal communication which is interesting to think about. All the more reason to hope that I get a job as even when I hang out with my roommate I still rarely leave the building.

That's no good, AIO-kun. I might dream of being a NEET, but I reckon everyone needs their time in the sun.
