Too damn hot!

水面の朧月 10 years ago in the UK, it rarely ever got above 25C (75F). Like one or two days a year. Nobody buys AC for just one or two days a year.

Climate change has fucked shit up

clare That's pretty concerning. I have no idea what it's like to go above 40.

    25 and 35 are drastically different. 38 to 48C 💀
I feel like it would be possible to sweat while taking a shower at that temperature. That's so weird to think about.
Are buildings over there built differently? Like with thicker walls or something to help with combating the heat. What is winter like?

But that'll just make things marginally worse! I just spray myself with water every now and then, and hang out in my underwear ^^'

水面の朧月 Also need to account for humidity. In my region 25°C can be more suffocating than a dry 35°C, also makes you sweat a lot. Can't imagine 35°C with high humidity 😱

Nowadays the whether is very hot and very fucked up. Had snow in April, big heat waves this summer and almost record floods, terrifying thunderstorms... Hope next year won't get hotter!

Yeah, I've heard someone mention that you could use a dehumidifier instead of an air conditioner. Not sure if they're any more economical to run, but they don't need any installation.

Dontmindme The bad news is that I get to have both. High temp and high humidity. I sweat while taking a shower 😔

It will get hotter every year. This generation is doomed.

The joys of being on the side of the house that gets the most sun in the evening, combined with my computer and poor air circulation.

          I am the heat incarnate.

plz end summer you're the worst season I hate u

my room either doesn't have insulation or the windows aren't installed properly, and it's so hot in here during summer i can consider it a form of torture

            it's a literal hotbox

timeslikethis I used to live in an apartment that is exposed to direct sunlight during the afternoon. It was hell during summer (somewhat warmer during winter but it doesn't help that much since summer is the worst season by a large margin)

I used to just showered for a few hours while reading manga until the sun goes down lol.
