not sure if it's worth fixing, with 2lewd eventually coming.
Is 2lewd going to replace this completely?
Melancholy wrotenot sure if it's worth fixing, with 2lewd eventually coming.
Is there a completion date in mind or is it still too deep in development to tell?

2lewd is an entirely new forum software, both the backend and frontend will be different.

Then it might be worth it to fix it. Even if it'll be replaced by new software, at least for the time that the fix will be in place it'll be a much appreciated one. I often click on them going "Oh! I can participate in this discussion" only to be faced with the no permissions page. Which sucks.

(I've not been updated on this lol)
Sounds pretty cool. Can't wait to see the finished product.
Also is it just me, or can I not post threads in the group subforums?

I don't seem to be having that issue... Perhaps it's your browser? I'm using Chrome, myself.

I'm using chrome as well, the entire new thread button is missing.

Perhaps you just didn't see it? (I'm pretty sure you've used Lewd's current design, but just in case.)
If not, that's really odd. You might wanna drop @Melancholy a line on Discord while he's still on.

Don't mind me. I'm just going to act like I knew that was there the whole time.
Thank you. Lol

The problem is that the query for showing all the latest posts is really slow, so we cache it whenever a user makes a post. it currently caches the threads that the user posting can see, which is where the problems come from.
Fixing it would require a rewrite of the feature, which is really not worth doing twice.
Sure it's inconvenient, but it's not that site breaking.

Never said it was site breaking, I only ever said it would be much appreciated. Not even that it was needed. I just find it annoying ¯_(ツ)_/¯
