GlassMoon

Hi all!

My username is from a Merzbow track which should give you an idea of my taste. I like noise, guro, and fucked up shit. But I enjoy comfy moe stuff quite a bit too.

I found this forum while looking through smaller communities like Uboachan, and it seems fairly active compared to stale boards like desuchan. Personally, I'm nostalgic for forums in a lot of ways since it seems that they're increasingly jettisoned in favor of image boards and social media sites. I enjoy both of those but I still look back fondly on forums I was part of much more (one for flash cartoons and, later, a few for cinephiles). So it feels nice to join an honest-to-god forum.

I felt the same way too GlassMoon and welcome to lewd! I hope you enjoy your stay, my name is Derf glad to meet you.

Bravery is one requirement, I suppose. The other is the ability to not have the image permanently engrained in your mind, preventing you from sleeping peacefully, and once you think you're over it, the memory occasionally decides to come back to haunt you.

I'm generally very open minded, but guro and NTR (without all parties consenting) genuinely leaves me sick to my stomach for a significant length of time. I really don't get those fetishes, and if I was the Trump of fetishes, I sure as hell would build a wall around them. Maybe a roof as well.

That cute girl that died... she had a family. She had people that loved her, parents that spent many years raising her. Sorry, I've ruined my own mood now.

Correct me if I'm going too far, but I really have little tolerance for people who have empathy weak enough to stand that stuff.

Uh, sorry for crashing the party.

You're still welcome, @[deleted]

Hi, i don't like Merzbow not because he's bad, but he has become sort of a meme lately in music communities.

Welcome to the forum!

I know what you mean. But he's got some really stellar material in my book, even if since the laptop era it's been more average. I love noise in general. Hijokaidan, MSBR, Dissecting Table, etc. are all great.

For the record, I should also probably state that I'm not that big a fan of guro for sexual purposes as much as I just like the aesthetic. Like watching gory slasher movies. I'm pretty vanilla when it comes to my fetishes actually. So I don't partake in guro doujins so much as stuff like Suehiro Maruo's work. I love horror and dark stuff but I can't jack off to it.

Alright, I see what you're getting at. I'm sorry if I came off as a bit hostile - I seem to get attached to manga characters rather quickly, and I get too empathetic.

It's all good! The truth is while gory, surreal stuff is how I got interested in manga and anime in the first place, in recent times I've been more of a fan of standard fare.

There is literally nothing wrong with watching smug lolis die for sexual pleasure.

Welcome to Lewd friendo, if you need anything don't hesitate to ask someone with a heart next to their name.
