I work from home and l almost locked myself out of my work laptop this morning.
Turns out the password prompt for decrypting the harddrive uses a different keyboard layout from the program which I used to set the password.
Once I figured that out I got back in with only one attempt left!
Well, later today I got locked out anyways thanks to my family's cat. I should have closed the door when I went away to get a coffee -_-

Kyaa, you poor thing! I hope you didn't have to stand outside in the cold... ;w;

I only got locked out of my work laptop ^^
I went to the office the next day and a coworker unlocked my account.

Oh my, that's pretty surprising. I remember when I used VeraCrypt, though, it would specifically change the keyboard layout to US English when setting the password, because that's what it uses in the pre-boot environment.
Met my old co-worker at my old job I just got back, which I didn't know if they were still there or not.
The best part about it is that I get along with them really well. At work I usually don't talk much to the other workers.
But somehow, we were able to hit it off and being able to see them again after a few months is rather nice.
They leave for the navy in May or so, so it'll be a shame when they've left, but for now, I'm just happy to see them again.
i wouldnt say this is weird but rather stupid.so i started playing 5 finger fillet again. last time i played was 4 years ago. so i was 14 at the time.
girl asked me to hang out and i had fun
Was printing some documents for mum. My room is so cold that the moisture from the warm paper was condensing on the printer itself.
I got caught in the rain, but the rain was some of the hardest rain I've ever seen. The kind of pouring that only comes every year or so. And I was far away enough from home that I had to take cover for 10 minutes or so til it was only raining a normal amount. Watching the gutters overflow was fun though, and I kind of enjoyed the whole experience.
Foolguy I like rain. Before moving to Japan I used to take my bike and run to the nearest lake to sit on a bench whenever it rains and just stare at the water surface until it's over. I would check the phone every once in a while. It was hard to type because rain and touch screen don't go well with each other. Anyway, when it was over I just went home and I remember people often gave me weird looks like "This guy just got dumped or something?".
No idea how hard it rains in your country. Japan's rains are kind of disappointing. I had monsoon and rains that last for half a day weren't rare.
