Nya.is is closing its doors.

Was great to use while it lasted. I've been using nya.is and pomf.se since 2014 in the summer, I've sent an email hopefully I'll get whitelisted.

Thanks for everything though and the free services you guys provided.

All good things must come to an end, I guess. Based on those statistics I'd say it was a pretty successful venture as far as file hosting goes. I had no idea that many people used it.

I feel for you, and we all know the feeling. It is... :sniff: sad to see this go, but we will do our best to hold back our tears and move on. （ ; ; ）

I am always here if you want to express your sadness via the PM. I'm always at your side when you need me. <3

Why not put up a donation button? I'd gladly give you some dosh to keep your site up or at least help out.

Edit: Yes, I signed up just for that. I've relied on your page quite a bit for my webm shitposting.

Someone that could probably be trusted with taking over Nya and keeping it open and maintained has sent me an email expressing interest in acquiring it. I'm sorta on the fence about it tbh, will probably converse with people about it when I've vetted them further - as I don't particularly want to hand over everyones data only for it to get lost.

thanks friendo. but it's entirely possible that you won't have to say good bye, as I'm considering an opportunity that has opened up for Nya.

What a blow, aww.moe shutting down too :p Oh well, nothing lasts forever. It's been good and I appericiate all the time you took running the service.

Nya.is is now owned by Josh, the founder of Kitsu/Hummingbird and will be transferred to him within the next day or two.

I'll write up an announcement about this later.

Oh yes. Nya.is still alive. Now Josh asking member Kitsu.io for help him curate anime GIFs on Nya.is.
