[Updated 6/3] Agramon's Anime Art (Sketches)

Posts

Hey. I'm a member on another forum so I'll just copy and paste what I put there.

I do draw NSFW sketches, and I don't believe I can post them here so they will be on my Tumblr!

UPDATE: There is a NSFW version of the thread here: https://lewd.sx/t/updated-5-5-agramon-s-anime-art-sketches-nsfw-version

I also do timelapses for some of my sketches: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxxTY1p3jRzwiYFvu_RddQA

======================================================================

NOTE: The first few sketches I drew are cringey and disproportionate, so if you want to save your eyes, don't go any older than the Pikachu Girl.

TL - Timelapse.

SNSFW - Somewhat NSFW

Colored - Totally fucking b&w

You can post your NSFW drawings in Lewd General ^_^: https://lewd.sx/f/lewd-general

Well, you're a considerably better artist than I am, so there's that 😛 Consistency and positioning of the eyes is definitely something you should work on.

I also like how your post was apparently updated before it was posted 😉

Yeah I have the hardest time drawing eyes. Usually, if I get the head correct, then everything else will look good.

Also updated the thread with a NSFW version.

Updated post with new drawings and timelapses!

Definitely improving! The Yui drawing is my favourite so far!

4 days later

Updated the thread with 2 more images. I just bought another 100 page sketch book, and this time I won't be tearing any pages from it. It will be satisfying to fill it up with sketches and just flip through them to see my progress 🙂

I wonder, have you ever tried out drawing with stuff other than pencils? Adding some markers/ink might be quite nice for the thicker outlines.

Yeah, I plan on using pen and coloring soon, but I want to get better at sketching first so using a pen and coloring the sketches won't look like crap

You could also try out dip pens! I think they're somewhat commonly used in manga art.

I found a Strata 0.5 pen in my drawer. I also updated the thread with a colored thingy.

ooo I do like the coloured one!

Though by dip pen, I meant something more like this:

They seem pretty cheap on Amazon. Though, isn't it a pain to be constantly dipping?

I can't really say tbh. I only just got mine today ^.^
There's definitely more technique to using them than standard pens, but I guess it's an interesting way of adding more personality to your work. But yeah, they're not really a wallet-breaking investment along with some pigment-based ink if you wanna try them out. I can't draw to save my life, so my experience will be mostly based on writing, but I'll let you know how I get on as I play with it some more. What country're you in? There are probably some online stores more suited to selling this sort of stuff than Amazon. I'm currently waiting for my black paper to arrive, so that I have an awesome surface for trying out silver ink!

Well, that's the best place for online availability, at least.
Have a gander around the places shown in https://www.reddit.com/r/fountainpens/wiki/index#wiki_vendors, if you feel like it! I'm not sure if all of them have dip pens, but at least JetPens does under Pointed Pen Tools.

Alright, I'll check them out. Thanks 🙂

Updated with a Natsu sketch. Might color this.
