Splatoon

Splatoon is coming out in a week ( Next Thursday ).

I've personally taken a real liking to it, but I don't think I'll be buying a ShiitU for just it, especially considering that it's basically an FPS and an FPS on the WiiU is absolute garbage. I'm really bugged by the fact that it's exclusive to it. I didn't expect a PC port or anything insane but, idunno, maybe for something less batshit? Like the 3DS? God.

Nintendo keeps trying to make the WiiU work and, honestly, Splatoon looks super cool. As a result, I feel like it's them trying to pull a "Look guys! The WiiU isn't complete and total garbage. It's got Splatoon!". As cool as Splatoon looks, it ironically reeks of desperation.

And I hope so too. I doubt it though. Or has that ever happened before with another game?

The only good the WiiU has is that it's from Nintendo.

It's innovation for the sake of innovation. AKA; Gimmicky and thus annoying in most gameplays.
The battery life is far too short. If you think around 3 hours is enough for your average gamer, you're dead wrong.
The controller is massive, incredibly impractical as a result.
The WiiU has it's own screen, making it something else to worry about. If it cracks or breaks, that's it. Unlock normal controllers.

I don't think I've ever used my gamepad thing yet lmao...
I use a gamecube controller and i love my Wii u. Doesn't matter about the battery life since i don't use it. A lot of people don't.

Get a "normal controller" if you want. All i've heard you complain about is the gamepad... It's not the end of the world if you don't like it. The Wii u itself is a solid system. There are several controller you can choose from.

Also the screen would be incredibly hard to break. Like you literally have to be retarded to break it. It's pretty strong.

You're being hostile for no reason. If you want to be a complete and utter fanboy, feel free, but don't try to use it as a basis for your argument since all it'll earn you is a place down below where we get to look down upon you.

Well yes. That's the whole point of the WiiU. Sorry if you missed the memo.

It's like criticizing a game and someone saying "All you've complained about is the core component".

Seriously. If even you don't use the gamepad, then the console has nothing special except a few Nintendo games and the fact that it's game library is slimmer than it's competitors; AKA: It's a weak product. Very weak, in fact.

And this is lining up pros/cons while removing the batshit controller from the equation, meaning this is the most apathetic way one can look at the console without influence by subjectivity.

Final Verdict?

With the remote? It's just really horrifyingly bad and impractical, however it's based around it almost completely.

Without the remote? It's just a very weak console.
