Counter Strike: Global Offensive

I'm actually very surprised to not see a thread on it yet.

Does anyone here play it? What are your matchmaking ranks?

Just like anime, I talked massive shit about it before trying it, and now I love it.

I've wanted to try it for a while, but I never got around to buying it.

I'm waiting for it to go on sale again.

Yeah, it took me quite awhile before I decided to commit and buy it.

I've got a few pieces of advice towards anyone thinking about playing it;
don't take it too seriously. The point that you start yelling at other teammates for making errors is the point where the game is no longer fun for any of you.
Find good teammates. I've found that my enjoyment of the game is entirely dependant on who my team is. Some of my most fun games were ones where we were loosing 10-2, but my team was hilarious. On the reverse side, some of my least favorite games were when we beat them 16-1, but people will still bitching at eachother for missing a kill, even though we swept the floor with the other team.
Don't try too hard, because in the end, it barely matters how good you do. I've won multiple games where our entire team was negative with our kill to death ratio, however, we played the objective.

If you ever decide to buy it, feel free to hit me up. I don't talk on the mic, but, I play the game frequently.

I'm only Silver 4-Silver Elite rank myself. Can't comp until i farm pvt lv3 because of their new anti-newbie system.

I think I'm MGE atm but I usually don't play this game and probably got boosted there by my friends ;~;

I bought it about a month ago and it's pretty fun. Silver life, tho.

I mostly play Casual and sometimes comp with friends and we scream and hit eachother during the matches until we win.

I am gold nova 1 but I haven't played in quite a while. Would love to play again sometime.

MG1, playing occassionally with friends. Though most of the time we're taking the first few rounds seriously, then if the game's too easy we tend to throw by fooling around or if the game's too hard we compete for kills. And of course we swear and insult each other a lot. Knifing the bomb defuser to defuse it yourself is also an often occurrence.

I just rush all the time and see what happens, in casual of course. Sometimes I'd get the upper hand in their ass, and sometimes they'd suck my nuts dry and fuck me over. I liked CS Source better though.

I find myself preferring csgo to css, personally. I can't even point to anything in particular that makes me feel this way, either, it just is.

Personally I'm a bigger fan of SCSS and SASS (at least now that I've given it a try). AYYY I'm not funny. @"Neko", at least you'll get this.

I play csgo, but not very often. I think I'm unranked, all I do is surf and play casual. When I do play casual I get my ass wiped like a baby because I'm terrible and don't have a good pc anyways.

You really don't need the sprays that bad, if you do just play TF2.

I'm pretty sure TF2 isn't Counterstrike.

All my friends and their mother play it, but it has never really piqued my attention.
