malmon I run a paint store, like architectural and industrial coatings. I like the construction industry just bc i like to see things get built and stuff but I'm so tired of the sales side of doin things. I was thinkin becoming a project manager bc my experience translates well into that. Exactly what in project management, i'm not entirely too sure yet but it could be construction, or some sort of tech position but ultimately I need something at least hybrid work from home/in office. idk what else to do haha management is ok, it's what i know so i dont mind til i can get skills for smth else in the long run
2024 New Year's Resolutions
Posts
I want to get at least decently in shape; how I used to be in high school.
This is probably going to be a long road so I've already started; I've cut out soda entirely and minimize the number of other sugary drinks I consume.
The next step is to build my stamina up over the next few months to the point where it isn't pathetic anymore.
My diet may need some adjustment, if I don't start seeing results after 2-3 months of stamina building I will consider a serious change in diet as well.
Once I have a good amount of stamina for light physical exercises, then I can decide if I want to start going to the gym or just make do without equipment.

This is probably one of the biggest things. It's rather shocking how easy it is to consume ludicrous amounts of sugar when it's dissolved in a drink. At least with ice cream you start feeling sick after a while. I remember I used to drink pretty much nothing but fruit juice. Better than other soft drinks, but I decided to stop after I finally correlated them with my stomach pain. I still drink sugary stuff on some occasions, but I've usually had enough after one glass, and the rest of the bottle sits there for weeks until my mum just has to pour it down the sink lol. Water's surprisingly good once you wean yourself off the sweet stuff.

I think you should easily see results after 2 months regardless of diet (unless you really eat nothing but crap). I was shocked at how quickly my stamina improved after like, 2 or 3 weeks of running most days. Unfortunately, my IBS put an end to it, and I'm back to my sedantry ways.

this has been the hardest part by far. Thankfully now a regular Gatorade tastes "too sweet" and it's got half the sugar that Pepsi/Mountain Dew do.

I don't eat as well as I could, and I tend to eat one large meal a day, but the quality is mixed.
I just want to be mentally healthy enough to start making money. That's all. I wanna keep my new year resolution short and simple so I can actually follow through with it.
What app is this? and same!!
